SEMI-FINISHED SEAT RINGS

SEDE RINGS are supplied semi-finished with a ground nominal outside diameter and a radiused chamfer on the insertion side of the cylinder head. For normal-use applications the rings are made of steel, while for GAS and supercharged engines we have developed a range called H alloy. The special H alloy is nickel-based and combines excellent machinability with excellent resistance to heat and chemicals. The quality lies in the chemical composition and the treatments performed. This alloy is machined by casting, without subsequent heat treatment, and is characterised by high structural stability even at high temperatures during engine operation.
